OUR PLOT SELECTIONS
In collaboration with La Chambre de l'Agriculture de l'Hérault, we select each plot according to precise criteria: the quality of its soil, its exposure, the age of the vines, the size, the yield, the health status and cultural.
These exceptional vintages are the fruit of long work from the vineyard to vinification.
The plot selections are the pride of the Fontès cellar!

OUR VALUES
The cellar's mission is to constantly educate its winegrowers about agroecology practices. The objective is to become aware that the quality of the raw material is first extracted in the vineyard. Respect for the climate, biodiversity and human health are priorities.
This line of action in agricultural production makes farms, areas that encourage biodiversity, preserve soil life, develop positive synergies with the natural environment of crops and promote the development of useful fauna including the main pollinators.
This is how we support all of our wine growers in a more responsible approach. Understanding the cycle of life helps preserve natural balances. Being aware of this gives them material to make choices.
Today, 80% of our wine growers have farms certified as “High Environmental Value” (HVE) and 10% are in “Organic Farming”. Some HVE certified are also “Terra Vitis” certified.
Our wines are thus produced with respect to reflect the truth of our terroir and fully express the richness of their aromas.
